What are OpenTable points?

US Customers

OpenTable members can earn OpenTable Dining Reward Points when they make and honor online reservations booked through our website, or through our mobile apps.

Reservations typically earn 100 points, but 1,000 point reservations are available at select restaurants and times. These reservations are clearly noted with a "1,000pts" label located under certain reservation timeslots.

Please note:

  • Bonus Points apply only to specific reservation times, and do not apply to all holidays or in conjunction with other offers or promotions.
  • If you change your reservation or arrive outside the stated qualifying Bonus Point Reservations schedule, your reservation may no longer qualify for 1,000 points.
  • Two or more people must be seated, and each person must order a minimum of one entrée in order to qualify for Bonus Points.
  • Points are awarded once OpenTable receives confirmation that the diners were seated. It can take up to 72 hours after you were marked as "seated" for the points to appear in your account.

  • No points are awarded for cancellations or no-shows.

OpenTable Dining Rewards Points are redeemable for OpenTable Dining Checks, which can be used at any OpenTable restaurant. Follow the steps listed in this article to redeem your points: Redeeming Dining Points.
